The Future Career Will Mean Being Creative!

Once upon a time... before Google, before electronic computers!
Information needed to be stored somewhere.
--------Otherwise, how would humanity have sustained laws, customs, historical records, business transactions, etc?

Once stored, the challenge was then how to retrieve that information when needed?

Perhaps the local library, archive, court, or maybe companies house! But how would you know where to look?
Imagine going to a library with 5000 books with no organisation? It wouldn’t even be worth looking for it.

Humanity needed other “organised” people, clerks, bookkeepers, record-keepers, accountants to help sort, manage and retrieve data or information. Even doctors, lawyers or bankers needed to understand how to retrieve information.

Whole professions and institutes grew and trained people to carry out these data management activities.

As technology improved, so did the sophistication of these activities as well as the income of these “organisers”.

But the key was that these “organisers” were now reprogrammed to stop thinking. Most decided they did not need to be “creative” anymore as the existing services kept them in employment.

But those who were still creative found new ways on how to sort, order or retrieve information. They developed software that could replace the “organisers”, who sat on their laurels.

Another change that is likely to happen is to the secured legal obligation that notaries certify between. buyers and sellers upon the sale of properties.

That role exercised by Notaries could well change with “block-chain”.  (A block chain is “a distributed database that maintains a continuously growing list of ordered records, called blocks.”) Do not worry if this is too technical which it is for me too.

Smart contracts are "digital computer programs stored on a block chain that run when predetermined conditions are met. They are typically used to automate an agreement's execution so that all participants can be immediately certain of the outcome, without an intermediary’s involvement or time loss. They can also automate a workflow, triggering the next action when conditions are met.”

As more authorities validate block-chains and make them acceptable legally, the savings, the speed of execution will lead to the replacement of the legal convention by Notaries on sale of properties.
It will make sense for buyers or sellers to want to save on the legal costs for work that can be done quicker, more efficiently, more accurately with greater trust, transparency and security and for less cost.

These changes are and will affect many careers. Professional need to understand how to reinvent themselves quickly.

With block-chain many type of  smart contracts will evolve and many similar situations will occur  in other sectors with creative minds coming up with innovative solutions.

You have creativity in you - awake it!
