The journey to becoming a PWFO Swiss Certified, providing Independent Financial Control of Wealth to Families and Private Clients, has been made practical. The route comprises 12 informative modules followed by an examination, leading to admission to the exclusive PWFO Swiss Certified Association as a Fellow. Admission as a Fellow grants authorization to use the designation and logo.
Today, let's dive into Module 2 of the IFCW Course developed by PWFO Swiss Certified, which is divided into three parts:
1. IFCW as a Career
2. IFCW as a Business
3. IFCW Business Plan - Sales & Marketing
In each part, you will encounter a list of Essential and Further Reading. While the objective of each module is clearly outlined, the learning outcome is achieved through reading, undertaking project-based learning, utilizing time with a partner-in-learning for further study, and answering the multiple-choice questions.
Part I: IFCW as a Career discusses the array of career options available to a candidate post completion of the course, whether within the banking and financial services industry or practicing as an IFCW within an existing firm or by setting up an independent office.
Part II: IFCW as a Business focuses on the various aspects involved in setting up a Professional Practice in a modern inclusive economy. For those already in practice within an existing firm, adding a wealth services arm to your repertoire can potentially increase earnings.
Part III: IFCW Sales & Marketing centres on the business plan with a particular emphasis on sales and marketing strategies suited to each individual's circumstances.
