PWFO Webinar Series
PWFO held the first of a 5-Part Mini-Series by Dan Dobry and Ayoob Rawat titled “A Career in Financial Services.”
It was refreshing having Dan, who was well appreciated by those who do not know him yet. The quality of the interventions was good.

In the first session we explored the various career paths available within the Financial Services sector.
We discussed the roles and responsibilities associated with some of the different positions.
In the next sessions we will cover:
Part 2: Improving Your Chances of Landing Your Dream Job
• Learn where to look for job opportunities and how to approach the job market.
• Emphasize the importance of proactive job searching, as highlighted by the famous British Minister of Employment's quote, "onyerbike."
Part 3: Debunking Myths About Qualifications
• Address the misconception that you need an MBA or be a rocket scientist to succeed in Financial Services.
• Highlight the importance of skills, passion, and practical experience over formal qualifications.
Part 4: Essential Skills for Success
• Identify the key skills needed to excel in the Financial Services industry.
• Discuss how to develop and enhance these skills to stand out in your career.
Part 5: Setting Up Independently
• For those interested in starting their own venture, explore the necessary organizational structures.
• Provide guidance on the steps to take when setting up independently and the challenges to anticipate.
By following this series, participants will be better equipped to chart their path to a successful and exciting career in the Financial Services sector.
