A career in Private Banking

A Private Wealth  Professional can work in private banking, in investment banks, and in wealth management firms offering personalized financial services. In essence, private bankers are personal financial advisors.

The work of a Private banker is to define financial goals with clients, develop a plan to execute the goals with the firm's other experts, then build and manage the client's portfolio so as to try and reach those goals.

Like in most jobs new entrants start by supporting the private bankers with analysis and basic financial advising.
